Cans promote the development of aluminum plate production for cans

In recent years, Chinas can-making industry has developed rapidly, and the demand for aluminum for cans has also increased continuously. it is estimated that the consumption of aluminum for cans in China will reach 215,000 tons in 2005. Experts pointed out that with the continuous improvement of production technology, light weight and the improvement of forming speed, cans have put forward stricter requirements on the performance of aluminum alloy sheets. Only by effectively controlling every link in the whole production process of aluminum plates and continuously improving the inherent metallurgical quality and performance of aluminum plates can aluminum plate and strip production enterprises adapt to the production needs of cans.
